So first, the bad news; Amazon is lowering their royalty rate for print books priced under a certain amount, and some of mine were in the affected range. Because of this I was unfortunately forced to raise my print prices slightly on those.
However, I’ll be lowering the price for Savior of the Damned to entice curious people into trying it out. I know how short funds are these days. I know how much easier it is to justify .99¢ versus $2.99. I’m there myself right now. So I figured, now that it’s been out for a while and Champion of the Dead is coming out soon, I’d lower the price so more people can check it out.

Meanwhile life has been knocking me senseless. The divorce process is agonizing, getting back on my feet is absolute hell, and my fragile health isn’t helping. I’m slowly getting to where I want to be, but right now? It’s all I can do to hold on. So not much has been going on in the way of writing. I honestly need time to decompress from working on The Guardians of Gaia anyway for now, so I’ll most likely be switching gears to Neophyte of Decimus (which you’ve already heard a dozen times now, I know.) At some point I’ll have Tales From Hell up for preorder as well. Three of the stories needed significant overhauls, and I stumbled across one that would be a perfect fit in it. I’m also sick to death of it at the moment so it’s in timeout.
Sorry about the lack of updates on Patreon and Kofi. I haven’t forgotten you, I promise. I’m going to release copies of Savior of the Damned, and Champion to the “Compsognathus had an important role” tier (I love dinosaurs, I couldn’t resist, I don’t care how weird that is.) I’m struggling really badly right now though, so updates between releases will be spotty. I’m sorry about that. Hopefully once my health is in better shape and the divorce is finalized things will get easier.
Not much else for now. Things will ease up on my end eventually, and I’ve got a plan to both work a day job while also hopefully maintaining a decent writing pace after the dust has settled.
