Mailing list and other exciting news!

I am launching my brand-new mailing list, and if you sign up you get to read the first two chapters of Savior of the Damned for free! They haven’t been through the loving hands of any professional editors yet so things will change, but I wanted to give you this opportunity to check it out and see why I’m so excited! If you enjoy it, consider supporting me on Patreon or Kofi, because I’m going to be releasing the book on both platforms first. Once a week you’ll get a brand-new chapter, and I’ll still be releasing short stories as well, which will be moved to the first of the month. As you know, I’m self-publishing, but the costs of getting the editors I need is a bit of a sticking point in my plans. So I’m letting you see it as it is now to raise money for the editors I’ll need. So far, it’s been edited by myself and passed through the loving hands of beta readers, but those aren’t the only stops to producing a high-quality book and I want to do this right. Right now, your support allows me to keep the website up and running, but I also want to use Patreon and Kofi to raise the money to afford editing services as well. You don’t have to worry about missing out on anything, either, because both services offer the same content.

As for the mailing list, it’s currently me doing everything by hand, so I thank you for your patience while I send out the downloads one by one. Once I get enough supporters on Patreon and Kofi I can upgrade the site and it will become automated. What better way to show my appreciation than with the first two chapters free to download? If you’re curious what the fuss is all about, email me at jpagaduanauthor@gmail.com and put “mailing list” in the subject to make sure I catch your email. As soon as I’m able I’ll email you a copy of the first two chapters.

If you’ve missed the blurb, here it is in all it’s glory. It’s going to be a trilogy, so keep an eye out for more information in the future.

While trying to survive the end of the world, Phaedra is conscripted by the Necromancer, Aurelius, to hunt for the mythic Godstones- magical artifacts that grant the wearer godhood. As Phaedra struggles to free herself, her friend, Eldren, attempts to foil Aurelius’ plan so he can help Phaedra escape. Between Phaedra’s skills as a magus and Eldren’s gift with all things clockwork, the two manage to work in tandem even with the miles separating them to hopefully bring Aurelius down once and for all.

Well that’s it for good news for today. I’m finishing up the last of this round of edits, and when I’m ready I’ll let you all know when I start posting on Patreon and Kofi. The first two chapters are already up on there, so if you like what you read and want more, I’ll be starting with the third chapter. I look forward to sharing this dream project with you all. Happy reading and pleasant dreams.
